Calendar Data: If you grant permission, we access your Google Calendar to read events and create new ones on your behalf. We only access data necessary to perform the scheduling actions you request.
Chat Data: The content of your conversations with KAAVI, which is stored to provide memory and context.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the purpose of providing and improving the KAAVI application functionality:

To provide, operate, and maintain the KAAVI application.
To personalize your experience and remember your preferences within the app.
To manage your calendar events as explicitly requested by you.
To improve the application's user experience and functionality.

We do not use your Google user data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information or Google user data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances necessary to provide our service:

Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our application, such as:
- Cloud hosting providers (e.g., Vercel, Supabase) for data storage and hosting.
- AI Model Providers (e.g., Google Gemini, Perplexity) to generate intelligent responses. Data shared with these providers is limited to the context required to answer your query and is subject to their strict data privacy policies.
Legal Compliance: If required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

These third parties are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us and are obligated to keep your information confidential.

5. Google User Data Policy

KAAVI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not allow humans to read this data unless you have explicitly agreed to it for specific cases, or as strictly necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable laws.
We do not use this data for advertisements or marketing purposes.
We do not use this data for training third-party AI models outside of the specific context of serving your user requests.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information and Google user data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Retention: We retain your account data (name, email, chat history) for as long as your account is active. Calendar data is accessed in real-time or cached briefly for performance but is not permanently stored on our servers generally beyond the context of the active session or necessary caching.
Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. You can request deletion by contacting us at support@kaavi.ai. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently remove your account and all associated data from our servers within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. However, please note that no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
